LETTER #: L080

To:

Anna & Laura Tirocchi

From:

Mrs. C. H. Danforth

Address of Sender:

Langley Field, Virginia

Text:

My dear Miss Anna: -

I am sending to you under separate cover the blue & green georgette samples Mrs. Newton sent to me. I think the combination will make a very handsome dress and if it is the best you have for me will decide on it. I want the gown to be as light looking in color - that is have the jade show a great deal - for I do not like dark looking clothes at a June wedding. That is why I wanted a periwinkle or hydrangea blue as it is light in color - but the blue over the jade will give it character. I want straight lines long and flowing. and my measures are about as before except am larger in waist line. 34 in around waist. I weight 155 lbs. so you see I am not very large. Will be at your house the morning of May 14.

Respectfully,

Mrs. C. H. Danforth
