My dear Miss Anna:- Am returning to you under separate cover the samples you so kindly sent to me. The only one I liked in the least was the one pinned to the sketch with the spanish lace. The color is very good and most becoming but the reason I do not want it for a gown is - all the little shops (only 2) in Hampton have sold the spanish lace all winter and if I ordered this I wouldn't feel as tho I had anything new. The model is very good looking and we will consider that later and by the way the same thing is shown in May 1st Vogue. Mrs. Newton said that you had beautiful materials imported things that you couldn't send samples of and I had better wait until I came on before making a selection - Is that agreeable to you? I will be there the morning of May 14 - and in case any sooner will let you know. I think I will have only the one gown made now. Thanking you for your trouble. I am Respectfully yours, A. W.
