Dear Mrs. Jose, Please excuse the delay in acknowledging your lovely letter due to the fact that it was misplaced. I wish to thank you for your deep interest regarding my health. I do feel much better when the weather is dry but I am very much depressed when the climate is damp. I have not been able to plan to go away because my sister does not wish to leave her children alone at home. I hope you have had a very nice Thanksgiving with your family and that, by now, you feel more at home at the Pier and you like it there.
