My dear "Miss Anna":- Mrs. Newton said she had engaged time for me the last of May to make me a gown for Miss Dorothys wedding and for you to send samples to me. I have waited and nothing seems to come so am writing you direct. Mrs. Newton told me the color scheme of the wedding and I want something that will harmonize. I have always wanted a gown periwinkle blue in color and I think now is my time for I think that color would tone with all the rest. So will you send samples of goods - prices and cuts. Think I would also like a black or dark blue cauton dress very plain but smart drapings. What would you suggest for that and can you make the two at one time? My plans are to be in Providence Monday morning May 14th and would like the first fitting that morning and another in the afternoon if possible so I wouldn't have to go up from Fall River but once. That is why I want to get my materials decided on before going on - Then if I need to get anything in N.Y. en route I can do so - Kindly let me hear from you at once to address on this paper. Respectfully yours Adelaide W. Danforth (Mrs. C. H.)
