The Tirocchi clientele came from a social level that required custom-made clothing, and from Anna and Laura they commissioned everything from blouses to opera coats. In a rejection of planned obsolescence, these clients would then come back each year to have their old but beautifully made clothing refitted with new trims to suit the new season.
