Weddings

Weddings were happy occasions for clients and dressmakers alike. They provided a chance for Anna and Laura Tirocchi to show off their skills, while their clients enjoyed the attention that their custom-made wedding garments attracted. These photographs were found in the shop and must have been sent by satisfied clients in gratitude to the sisters. Some of the subjects have been identified through newspaper clippings about the weddings, also found in the shop, but the names of others are still unknown.
